SCORE Business Advice MagazineAs a business owner, you have the opportunity to reach the thousands of individuals who want to start or grow their business in Orange County, NY and surrounding counties.

The Orange County Chapter of SCORE #465 has published a special business resource guide called SCORE Business Advice,  that is distributed to local libraries, County Clerk offices, exhibitors and Expo attendees of local Expos. In addition, our Chapter also distributes the resource guide to all face-to-face counseling clients as well as workshop attendees and Entrepreneurial Success Programs throughout the year.

This is be the fourth annual publication. The past three were a complete success, and the magazine is being used as a business resource by libraries, SCORE Chapters, County Clerk offices, and Chambers of Commerce in Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster, Rockland, Westchester and Sullivan counties.

The publication is printed once per year, and the next publication is scheduled for May 7, 2016.

The publication is full color, measuring 8 1/2″ by 11″.   You may choose from three different ad sizes:

Full page measures 9.625″ h x 7.625″ w – $1,495 $995 Save $500 when placing order by April 15, 2016.

1/2 page ad measures 4.625″ h x 7.625″ w – $995 $695. Save $300 when placing order by April 15, 2016.

1/4 page ad measures 2.5″ h x 7.625″ w – $795 $495. Save $300 when placing order by April 15, 2016.

Place your ad by choosing your ad size below. All ad placements must be paid by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover via PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to pay.

Once you’ve paid for the ad, you will be directed to the ad placement page where you will be able to upload an ad, or ask us to create one for you. Ad creation is free. Full color ads are at no additional cost.

Q. When is the ad due?
A. All orders must be in by Friday, April 15, 2016. Your ad proof will be emailed to you for your approval before it goes to print.

Q. Can I use an ad I’m currently running in another publication?
A. Only if you have permission to do so. The ad must also fit the dimensions of our ad space. We may need to re-create the ad for you, so that it looks right when printed. There is no cost for this service.

Q. May I see a copy of an existing magazine?
A. Yes. You can stop by the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and pick one up if your local library or local SCORE Chapter is out of copies. You can also see an electronic version by clicking here.

Q. Is color for my ad additional cost?
A. No. Color is included in your ad at no additional cost. It’s free.

Q. Do I have to pay before the ad is published?
A. Yes. All ad placements must be paid in advance. The amount of funds raised will be used 100% to for printing and design purposes. The more ads placed, the bigger the circulation, and more people get to see your message, so tell your business peers.

Q. How will the magazine be distributed?
A. Copies will be distributed to all Expo exhibitors and attendees at the Orange County Chamber of Commerce EXPO, Goshen Chamber Business and Community EXPO. Other copies will also be distributed throughout the year to SCORE clients whom we counsel and workshop attendees.  We also send a physical copy to local libraries, SCORE Chapters, County Clerk offices, and Chambers of Commerce in Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster, Rockland, Westchester and Sullivan counties. Finally, the digital version will also be distributed by email to subscribers, placed on this web site, and through social media.

Q. How many magazines are actually printed?
A. The digital copies are made available to our subscriber list and through social media and there is no limit to the number of copies distributed. The printed (physical) version is limited by the amount of advertising revenue collected for this publication. The more advertising revenue, the more copies are printed and distributed. Based on last year’s advertising revenues, the total number of printed copies was 3,000. You can spread the word about this publication and this will help increase distribution of the magazine to 4,000 or 5,000 this year.

Q. How should my ad be submitted?
A. When you complete the ad placement form, you will be able to upload your camera-ready ad. If you need us to design your ad, then all you have to do is upload your logo, or any other royalty-free image you’d like us to use. Image must be high-resolution.

Q. Ad specs?
A. All ads should be the dimensions of the size you desire and saved at a minimum of 300 dpi in jpg, png 24 or pdf format.

Q. Who will design my ad?
A. All ads and the entire magazine will be created by, A&E Advertising and Web Design. There is no cost for your ad design. Your ad sponsorship helps pay for the design, printing and distribution of the publication.

Q. Can I speak with someone before placing an ad?
A. Of course you can call. We’ll be happy to help with your ad needs. Simply call Edison Guzman at (845) 469-4919 Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm. However, if it’s 2am and you’re just getting to place your ad, we’ve made it very simple for you to do so…even without our help.

Q. How do I place my ad?
A. Click on any of the links below to choose the ad size, and you’ll be taken to our secured order form. Once the payment is processed, you’ll complete the ad form where you can upload your logo, add your ad artwork, or tell us what you want in the ad, so that we can design it for you.
